Most people think Christmas is about Jesus. It's not. It's about sugar. During the holiday season my trinity is ginger snaps, oatmeal raisin cookies, and chocolate chip cookies. What are your favorite Christmas sweets?

Good title. Most would be surprised to know that you are the baker in the family and your repertoire is growing. Aren't we lucky?
Number 1 Yuletide sweet is your baby girl! Something new I've made from the recipes of my own peoples is Tres Leches Cake, a yellow cake soaked in a milk concoction of sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk and heavy whipping cream.
Rum balls, but the last time I ate them they made me sick. And my mother-in-law's date nut bread which she probably won't make this year because she's too busy dating. I like the food angle on the season - nice post.
Egg nog! But not the real stuff. I like the stuff in the grocery store dairy section! I also love gingerbread men, and peanut butter cup cookies, although I can't make those now. Thanks for reminding me. ;-)

Latkes. Latkes and sour cream.
Yep, we're left out of the yum-fest.
